The SmartView Pro Network Interface enables you to view the current job status on your networked SmartPAC PROs, send on-screen messages to the SmartPAC PRO, and download useful information from the SmartPAC PRO, and installed more.

Easy Setup

Setup is simple:

1. Your computer or mobile device must be on the same network as your connected SmartPAC PROs.


2. Visit SmartPACPRO.com. If this is the first time you've used SmartView PRO, you will be redirected to the setup page.


3. Enter a user name. This will be used as your name when you send a sticky-note to a press using the messaging feature in SmartView PRO.


4. Enter the press name and static IP address for the SmartPAC PRO


5. Continue entering the press names and IP addresses for the rest of your SmartPAC PROs. The figure below shows that 7 presses have been set up in SmartView PRO. Please note that the setup list can be exported and shared with other to make their setup even easier.

How it Works

The setup information is stored in your browser as a cookie. SmartView PRO uses this cookie to poll each SmartPAC PRO. The next time you visit SmartPACPRO.com you will be directed to the Summary Screen. The summary shows an overview of all the presses connected to SmartView PRO. Please note that to use SmartView PRO your computer, phone, or mobile device must be logged into the same network as the SmartPAC PROs. Although the formatting information comes from SmartPACPRO.com, the data from your presses never leaves your network.

You can view a press's detail screen by clicking on the press name. The detail screen shows information about the currently running job. The tonnage will also be displayed if the SmartPAC PRO is equipped with an AutoSetPAC or WaveFormPAC.

From the detail screen you can view the press's event log (the last 300 events that occurred at the machine), the live SmartPAC PRO screen, a tool list, and the SmartPAC PRO's installed options.

Messaging
